Beloved husband of the late Anna, having arrived together at Lyttelton from Limburg, Holland in 1962. Father of Neil, Mona and John. Opa to Haley, Rose, Meisha, Jordan, Izaak and Xavier. Father in law of Bruce, Susan and Brigette. Adored brother (Kritje), of Lenie, Riet, Annie, Fienie, and Harry, (all in Holland/UK). Known to both family and friends as kind, nature-loving and of optimistic humour and gentle temperament. Messages to the Videler family c/o PO Box 48, Mosgiel 9053. A funeral mass will be held in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Centre at 42 Dryden Street, Sumner, on Thursday 8 December 2016 at 9:15am. Burial at Lyttelton Anglican Cemetery thereafter.
