At home surrounded by her loving family, Karen passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband on Sunday, December 18, 2016, aged 44 years. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of David, loved and cherished mother of Mia and Luca. The family wish to thank the Nurse Maude palliative care staff and the staff of the Oncology Ward at Christchurch Hospital for their wonderful care of Karen. In lieu of flowers, the family welcome either a donation towards the cost of the funeral which can be made at the service or a living plant. A celebration of Karen’s life will be held in the Lacebark Function Centre, 41 Moodys Road, Clarkville, on Thursday, December 22 at 2.00 pm. Private cremation thereafter.
