After a courageous battle with cancer, Mailata Uiato Fili passed away on 9th of March 2017 peacefully while surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Ta’aletupa Fili, cherished father of his baby Vaigalepa Pulemaria, Michael, Matalasi, Fa’aiuga, and Lavea’i, precious son of the late Matuaavao Fili & Puleavaga Kuresa, loved brother and brother-in-law of Siagigi, the late Matuavao Lota & Vai Fili, Matua Taumai Iosua & Maria Leo’o, Sina & Lemalu Fa’amoe, the late Fale Fili, Fale & the late Rev Elisara Elisara, Matua Afele & Fa’afetai Fili, Sieni Fili, Valoaga & Talosaga Fili and Lavenia Matua and an adored Uncle of the extended Matua Leo’o Fili Family. All services to be held at the Samoan Methodist Church, 25 Barbour Street, Phillipstown.
