On 25 March 2017, peacefully at Fitzgerald House Hospital (Anglican Life), aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Patricia. Loved father and father-in-law of Deborah, and Mark and Andrea. Loved grandfather of Riley, and Elise. Loved by his family in the UK. No flowers, please. Special thanks to Lyttelton Medical Centre, Nurse Maude, Christchurch Hospital’s Oncology Department, and the staff at Fitzgerald House Hospital. The Funeral Service for Edgar will be held at St Mary’s Church, Cnr Truscotts and Martindales Roads, Heathcote, on Tuesday 28 March, at 11am. Private cremation thereafter.
