Aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Grace, loved father and father-in-law of Gary and Elaine, Alan and Lyn, Peter and Gill. Loved grandfather of Ben, Simon, Alex, Bradley, Adam, Megan, Tracy, Aimee, and Sally. Loved great grandfather of Brooklyn, Nico, Anika, Christabel, and Adalind. A special thank you to the health care workers who assisted Russ to stay in his home and to the staff at Christchurch Hospital. The service to celebrate Russ’ life will be held in the Sumner School New Hall, Dryden Street, on Thursday August 27 at 4.00pm. Private cremation thereafter. No stiletto heels in the school hall.
