Passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018 at Park Lane Retirement Village, aged 71 years. Sadly widowed by the late John Thomson. Much loved wife of Stan. Loved daughter of June and the late Bruce Sheppard. Dearly loved mother of Darron, Gary, and Ross. Wonderful grandmother to her 3 grandchildren and her 1 great-grandchild (with another one on the way!). Special thanks to Allison, Aylene, and Jeanette for their love and support, and to all the medical staff who cared for Sandy. Messages to the family C/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A funeral service for Sandy will be held in the Ferry Park Chapel, 297 Ferry Road, Christchurch on Tuesday 4th September 2018 at 1:00pm. Thereafter private cremation.
