Woollen Shroud

A shroud is a simple, dignified cloth, offering protection and respect. Think of a shroud as a soft, gentle alternative to a coffin, carefully folded around the body. Our shrouds are made from 100% wool, grown right here in New Zealand. Coffins do not break down during the water cremation process so shrouds are used in their place. Coffins can still be used for transportation or funerals but are a temporary home when water cremation is chosen.
